Yesterday I’ve found myself saddened after hearing Steve Jobs is dead.
It was an inspiring leader; a visionary; an extraordinary business man; and a personal hero.
I struggled to see how could his vision be extended so that I, as an Apple consumer, could still benefit of his attention to detail, quality and human touch. More than that, it was hard to understand that people like Jobs, who have the strength and will to change the world for better are very rare. Even if he did this in the name of his company.
But he gave us the first personal computer, designed the first laptop, promoted user-centered design, among many other things. We can now say that the democratization of information as we have nowadays happened with his help.
Then today I’ve found relief while thinking that with him I can still believe that there’s space for people like him who can achieve his dreams against all odds.
Steve started the most valuable company in the world in his garage.
He was an adopted children.
He dropped college.
He was fired from the company he founded.
He had pancreatic cancer.
We can all fight for what we believe!
Thank you Steve jobs
We all now think different!
Rest in peace
